The top three PPC Tips


PPC Tip #1:
Our first PPC Tip is important. Off the start we suggest to use only extremely targeted keywords and phrases on Google AdWords and Yahoo Search. Their traffic is a bit more expensive but it will also have a higher quality and faster feedback loop than most other PPC engines can provide.

PPC Tip #2:
Before you setup up your PPC campaign, define your goals and what approach you want to use to reach your goals. Furthermore, what metrics will define if your campaign is a success or failure. E.g. Conversion rate, Opt-In rate, Traffic, CTR, and so on.

PPC Tip #3:
Make sure that your keywords in each ad group are very closely related. Some people even have an adgroup for each keyword (and its variation). For example, if you have a campaign about “Pay Per Click Engines”, your first ad group might be called “Adwords” and the keywords you might use are “Google Adwords”, “PPC Adwords”, and so on. Another ad group might be called “Yahoo Search” and the keywords you are using “Yahoo Search Marketing”, “Overture”, and so on.
